Fees & Insurance
Therapy is an investment and you are worth it.
Spending time and money on yourself may make you feel a bit uncomfortable, and that is completely normal. After all, we are taught to use our hard earned money on things that are worth the investment. YOU, are the best investment that you’ll ever make! Your well-being not only affects your own health, it also impacts your family, friends, and co-workers. The list could go on and on. That is why it’s important that you take the best care of yourself to see improvements in your day-to-day interactions and relationships.
Insurance & Out-Of-Network Benefits
I currently accept multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans, BCBS Federal Employee Program (FEP Blue), Optum, and West Virginia Public Employee Insurance Agency (WVPEIA), as well as providing services as an out-of-network provider. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage, I am happy to help you navigate your plan options together.
Questions to ask your insurance company:
Do I have benefits for counseling?
Do I need to meet my deductible first?
What percentage of the session will my insurance coverage cover?
Will my insurance company cover online therapy or in-person therapy?
*Coaching is available for clients that reside in the United States, no matter which state you reside. Coaching is not covered by insurance
Fees for Therapy
Individual 30-Minute Focused Session ($105)
These sessions are a good fit if you want a quick check-in or to discuss a situation that may have just popped up. We all have those times when something unexpected catches us off guard and we may need to work through our thoughts. In this instance, scheduling a quick 30-minute session is best.
Individual 50-Minute Traditional Session ($125)
These sessions are best when you are facing tough situations that need more time to work through. We can go at a pace that meets your needs and allows you to feel as though we have covered the most ground.
Cancelation Policy
I understand that life happens sometimes and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. No problem! All I ask is that you give me at least 24 hours notice so that I can accommodate others from my waiting list. I’ll do my best to reschedule you for another appointment time that’s more convenient.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
